Zeruel is my favorite Angel. Zeruel is incredibly powerful. Zeruel's AT Field is strong enough to be unharmed by a N2 Mine. Zeruel gets around by floating. Zeruel's eye laser is so strong, that it took off 18 layers of armor to Central Dogma in one shot! Zeruel has the ability to form a shield over it's Red Core for protection. Zeruel's Ribbons can cut through anything. Even Evas. Zeruel seems to be very intelligent. Zeruel knows where Lilith is kept, and he knows how to get there. Zeruel seems to want to destroy NERV HQ as well. Eva Unit-00 and Eva Unit-02 were severely injured in the battle with Zeruel.

Zeruel entered the Geofront and Eva Unit-02 with Asuka, was ready to neautralize it's AT Field. Eva Unit-02 grabbed weapon by weapon, firing at Zeruel. Sadly to say, Zeruel's AT Field remained strong as ever. Zeruel Sliced Eva Unit-02's arms off, and decapitated it. Eva Unit-00 with Rei then ran out, with a missing left arm on the eva, with an N2 mine in it's other hand, dashed to Zeruel. Eva Unit-00 shoved the N2 mine into it's AT Field, but Zeruel covered it's Red Core. Zeruel then sliced Eva Unit-00's face in half vertically. Then Finally, Eva Unit-01 went to battle it but failed. Eva Unit 01 went beserk and actually ate the angel! Unit-01 began to actually bite off the face of the angel! The angel was utterly defeated, but it didn't end there. Shinji had gone past a 400% Syncro with his eva, and was actually absorbed into the LCL. With the help of his previsously trapped mother, Shinji escaped. Also, Unit one had eaten the SEva went beserk actually ate the angel! Unit-01 began to actually bite off the face of the angel! The angel was utterly defeated, but it didn't end there. Shinji had gone past a 400% Syncro with his eva, and was actually absorbed into the LCL. With the help of his previsously trapped mother, Shinji escaped. Unit one actually ate the S2 core of the angel, giving Unit 01 an S2 (self supporting) engine. This means that Unit 01 can now run without the need for an umbillicle cable.
