Sahaquiel is a very large angel, and was in the orbit of Earth. He can release chunks of himself, that are surrounded by an AT Field, to cause some kind of explosion or impact that a bomb would make. It slowly corrects it's mistakes. The first shot hit sea, but it slowly and slowly got closer to land, and on the 4th shot, it hit. Sahaquiel also has a lot of eyes, like Matareal. And it's large arms, are where the chunks of him fly off from.

Sahaquiel was spotted above the Indian Ocean, in the orbit of Earth. Two satellites went to look at the angel, but Sahaquiel used his AT Field to crush them. This was a new use for the AT Field.

Finally when Sahaquiel dropped above Japan, Eva Unit-01 with Shinji as the pilot quickly ran below it, and tried to keep it above the land. Sadly, the AT Field of Eva Unit-01 was not strong enough to beat that of Sahaquiel's. Fortunately, Eva Unit-00 piloted by Rei, and Eva Unit-02 piloted by Asuka were quickly running to help Shinji. They spread their AT Fields and were able to support Sahaquiel up a little longer.Then, Eva Unit-00, using it's Progressive Knife, cut a hole in Sahaquiel's AT Field, and held it open with it's hands. Then, Eva Unit-02 engaged it's Progressive Knife and impaled Sahaquiel in it's huge eye, which was it's weakness much like Matareal.
