Ritsuko's 30 and is very serious. Ritsuko works for the first section of the Technology Bureau of the Technology Development Department of NERV. She's known Kaji and Misato since they were only kids and they've been friends since. She is very mature and the more serious type. She has a cat and likes to buy toys for it. The cat lives at her grandmother's. Her mother, Naoko, invented the super computer, Magi for NERV. It is the main computer in NERV. She is also in charge of the Evangelions, for their tests and so on.
Ritsuko doesn't have father. She was brought up by her mother. Her only friends are probably Misato and Kaji. She loves Gendo so much that she would do everything for him and would even sacrifice herself to him. After Naoko, her mother, commited suicide in front of the Super Computer Magi, Ritsuko had tooken over her rank as the head scientist and technician for NERV.
