Fuyutski is a stern man. His job as secondary commander is to take over when Commander Gendo is out. He is smart and mostly calm at times. Yui introduced Fuyutski and Gendo to SEELE.SEELE is a strange organization and sort of wants the Third Impact to happen. Since Gendo and Fuyutski have other intentions than to have the Third Impact, they secretly work against SEELE.

Fuyutski was a professor in the University of Kyoto. He met Yui, Gendo's wife during the days in university.When the Second Impact had happened, he decided to investigate secretly. Fuyutski believes Gendo had something to do with it because when the Second Impact hit, Gendo had left the Katsuragi Expedition altogether as if he knew it was coming.
