The "Fifth Child", Kaworu's 14. He likes to sing songs. He was sent to NERV from SEELE with no approval at all from NERV. Kaoru is the best Eva Pilot ever because his ability to set the synchronization ratio allows him to do so. He was Shinji's best friend and advised Shinji to learn more about himself. However, Kaworu isn't exactly human.
Kaworu is a nice child from which may have no origin. All files on him were erased, much like Rei. He "loves" humans. He is very friendly, especially to Shinji (he appears gay to some degree).
