Gaghiel probably is the only Angel that was born to live in water. Gaghiel's body formation is very similiar to a fish or shark. Gaghiel can swim incredibly fast. Gaghiel has no real weapons but his teeth. Gaghiel's Red Core is acctually hidden in it's mouth

Gaghiel's AT Field Strength is unknown because Gaghiel never set one up. His teeth are very strong however. Strong enough to impale Eva Unit-02. If Asuka and Shinji hadn't had that great synchronization ratio all of a sudden, Eva Unit-02 and them would have all been destroyed.
