Armisael seems to just want to observe how a human thinks. Armisael is very strong and it floats around. Armisael has no red core, so no true weakness is available. Armisael contaminated Evangelion Unit-00 and Rei and because of that, Armisael shared it's emotions with Rei. With emotions, Rei realizes she loves Shinji and self-destructs her eva. Rei however is found "alive..."
